Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about tracking shows with BingeTracker.
What happens to my data if a show gets cancelled?
Nothing disappears. Cancelled shows stay in your tracked list with their full history, ratings, and progress intact. We update the show's status to reflect the cancellation so you know not to expect new episodes, but you can keep it, archive it, or remove it — it's your call.
Can I export or back up my watchlist?
Yes. Premium users can subscribe to a personal iCalendar (.ics) feed that keeps upcoming episode and return dates synced to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar automatically. A full CSV/JSON export of your tracked list is on the roadmap — in the meantime, your data is never locked in, and you can request a copy any time by emailing us at bingetrackerapp@gmail.com or reaching out on Instagram @bingetrackerapp.
Can I track shows across multiple streaming platforms?
Absolutely. BingeTracker is platform-agnostic — we pull show data from TMDB, so anything airing on Netflix, HBO/Max, Apple TV+, Disney+, Paramount+, Prime Video, network TV, or anywhere else is trackable in one place. Each show page shows where it's currently streaming so you always know where to watch.
How do I get notified when a show returns?
Once you add a show to your tracked list, BingeTracker automatically scans for return dates and notifies you the moment one is announced. Premium users also get notifications for individual weekly episode drops and can sync everything to their phone calendar for silent, native reminders.
What's included in the free vs. Premium plan?
Free includes tracking up to 5 shows, browsing trending shows, and search. Premium ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) unlocks unlimited show tracking, return-date notifications, the full monthly Calendar view with .ics sync, friends and social features, and priority scans. You can upgrade or cancel any time.
